Abstracts
A CIO's Perspective on Increasing Valuable Customer Interaction
This presentation will discuss the trends affecting companies that want to better know their customers, and the challenges facing them to ensure that more relevant, sensitive and timely information that customers demand is delivered with a high degree of confidence. Digital identity is the key enabling technology that establishes this increased level of security, across the organization and the network. Customer Relationship Management systems enable an organization to establish a deep understanding of customer preference and history, shared across all groups in an organization.

Identity – Why Now
This presentation will cover the factors driving the momentum and interest in identity, provide an overview of the spheres that digital identity applies to and an outline of how digital identity deployment will play out.

The Evolution of Identity Management in a Web Services World
This presentation will discuss how the need to support Web services is driving the development of Identity management, but against a background of falling IT budgets, and within an increasingly constrictive legal framework. Directories provide the foundation, enabling scalable, flexible, and policy-driven services to be implemented cost-effectively. A federated identity management system, separate from the services that it supports, is the key infrastructure.

Digital Identity in a Networked World
The Internet has become one of the prime vehicles for business, community, and personal interactions. In most cases the identity of the individuals or entities involved is critical to successful interactions. Unfortunately, establishing and maintaining such an identity today is a non-trivial and frustrating exercise. This presentation will address issues related to digital identity and will present The Liberty Alliance Identity Architecture, a framework in which individuals and businesses can more easily interact with one another while respecting the privacy and security of shared identity information.

Framework and Approach for Protecting Digital Identity
Central to many of the challenges facing those offering and utilizing identity services and products is a secure, trusted and privacy compliant use of personal information assets. This presentation will outline the ISTPA's Privacy Framework and the presenter's perspective regarding citizen-consumer requirements.

Real-World Case Studies for Enterprise & Government
Panelists will share real customer case studies related to digital identity management, securing web services and transactions and actual scenarios from enterprise and government. The floor will open to the audience for questions on future scenarios, ROI analysis, impact of standards, recommended deployment timelines and other burning issues.

Impact and Opportunities
Why identity is the unifying principle to current technology and societal trends and how "individual space" is positioned to be the next engine of wealth creation.
